  UPDATED: Credible friends have confirmed that my experience was not the norm for this establishment and that the food is generally very good. The fact that I received such a low quality steak that was prepared so poorly indicates a multistage lack in quality control, not a lack of capability or intent to serve good food. In light of that, I've raised the star rating to three stars instead of one. The meal I received was absolutely unacceptable, but I believe that this vendor could resolve this shortcoming relatively easily. Time and future reviews by other customers will tell whether they do or not.
  
  Original Post: Heard and continue to hear rave reviews about this place from others, but when I took my family there for a special occasion, the service was mediocre at best, my wife's prime rib was average, and the medium rare rib eye I ordered was barely seared and so full of gristle that I literally couldn't cut through half of it with the knife. In my 47 steak loving years, that was the second steak that was so bad I could not eat it.

  Would be 4 stars, but when I went, I chose a $20 bottle of wine, and halfway through it, they informed us they made a mistake and charged us $40 for the bottle. Very unprofessional.
